2010 Walk for Disaster Relief - April 13, 2010, New Orleans, LA

The foundation will hold the ANCOR Foundation Walk for Disaster Relief on Tuesday, April 13 in New Orleans. Proceeds from this leisurely 1.5 mile walk will help the foundation build the ANCOR Foundation CARES Fund, which distributes money to colleague agencies and disability focused organizations affected by natural or man-made disasters.

How The Fund Helps

Through the power of this fund, the ANCOR Foundation recently made a $5,000 contribution to assist ANCOR member International Child Care, Dominican Republic assess and address the needs of individuals with disabilities in Haiti.

This is but one example of how the ANCOR Foundation CARES Fund can help. Do your part and help ensure that when disaster strikes, the ANCOR community can respond!
