Director of Fiscal Management - Burlington, IA Hope Haven is a non-profit organization that provides vocational, residential, community employment for over 350 mentally and physically challenged persons and 200 employees located in Burlington, Iowa. Duties include directing all financial operations of Hope Haven. Coordinate, develop and monitor budgets for each program. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements relating to the annual audit, manage payroll systems, tax returns and cost reports. Develop and monitor internal control policies and procedures. Integral part of leadership team, reporting to Executive Director. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field required. Certified Public Accountant strongly preferred. Experience analyzing accounting data and identifying causal factor responsible for result variations. Experience working with accounting reports and an understanding of the operating activities as they relate to the accounting system. Proficiency in the utilization of a variety of software application programs. Knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations as they apply to a non-profit environment. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs preferred.
